INK SYSTEM

The imagePROGRAF iPF770 large-format printer's 5-Colour ink set is perfect for technical applications, posters, and office signage. For printing precise lines, curved curves, and small text on technical and office documents, this ink technology combines two channels of pigment matte black ink with four highly colorfast dye inks to create bold, expressive colour. Included is a newly developed magenta ink that, when compared to earlier models, helps produce a wider colour gamut in the red and orange spectrums.

With the help of the printer's sub-ink tank system, any unused ink can be used up completely before needing to be replaced. Additionally, the empty tanks can be changed without pausing a print job.

LOW OPERATIONAL COST

To help lower the overall cost of operation, a number of significant built-in features minimize ink consumption, media waste, and maintenance costs. These functions include auto-rotation, nesting, and economy print mode to cut down on media waste.

SPACE-SAVING DESIGN

The printers can be installed flush against a wall and have a small footprint, making them adaptable to almost any setting. For simple media loading, there is also an assisted toploading feature.

VERSATILITY

The management and workflow of printing can be enhanced by changes to the imagePROGRAF software lineup.

imagePROGRAF Print Utility - This iOS-based app allows users to print PDF files wirelessly, directly from an iPad to an imagePROGRAF printer.

Direct Print & Share 2.0 - Canon’s cloud-based portal solution allows for the sharing and printing of JPG, TIFF, PDF, and HP-GL/2 files from almost anywhere in the world. Also, shortcut-printing capability has been added for drag-and-drop printing (PC only).

The Single Sensor assembly technology used in the L36 scanner helps to produce more consistent and accurate colour reproduction with more detail in the shadows and highlights than a staggered CIS array scanner.

Features Optically resolving 600 dpi Up to 36" wide images can be scanned, and 38" wide documents will fit. Up to 3 inches per second in monochrome and 1 inch per second in colour Draft, Standard, and Best are the 3 quality levels. 0.5 mm thick documents can be scanned Upright/Rear exit path of uncurved paper.

The L36 scanner has a long-life LED bi-directional illumination image sensor that is a single component and spans the entire width of the scanner. A full-width image capture reduces the chance of scan data misalignment compared to time-delayed scanning of individual sections. LEDs have almost no warm-up time, offer a wide and consistent colour gamut, use little power, and are less likely to cast shadows at folds or creases.
