The 44-inch, 8-color imagePROGRAF PRO-4100S printer, created for the poster and signage markets, performs faster than anticipated and consistently produces colours. An imagePROGRAF printer can now load and recognize paper automatically for the first time ever. Just position the roll holder in the printer, and the media will feed into the print automatically. Without the need for manual entry, the built-in multi-sensor measures the surface reflection and the media thickness to identify the type of media.
Save both ink and media by accurately measuring the remaining amount of media on a roll without printing a bar code.
For simple operation, the large 4.3" LCD operation panel makes use of touch screen technology from smartphones. For ease of use, the top three most frequently used commands—Load, Feed, and Cut—now each have their own buttons below the operation panel.
Advanced security features were built-in, increasing administrative control over end-user printing. These features include support for secure PIN printing to protect data.
